THE REPORTAGEN PROJECTS

BRAND ASSET MANAGEMENT, STRATEGIC DESIGN PLANNING & CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

The Reportagen Projects were developed within the framework of the three disciplines Brand Asset ManagementStrategic Design Planning and Corporate Communications.

THE CHALLENGE

Puntas Reportagen AG is a small Bern-based publisher dedicated to providing interested readers with unheard and outstandingly told stories. The company’s magazine by the name of Reportagen is an analogue collection of articles that forms a counter-movement to today’s almost entirely digitalised, fast-consumption media-culture and intends to reinforce the value of the written word.

Puntas Reportagen AG is a comparably small publisher with a limited budget for advertising and marketing. The brand and the product were looked at from three different angles, which resulted in a holistic evaluation of the situation the Reportagen magazine is in.

THE SOLUTION

The Brand Asset Management project looked at how to create, maintain and manage brands in order to build brand equity for an organisation.

The Strategic Design Planning project deepens the understanding of what constitutes value for people and how these values can be transformed into economic value for a company. More specifically, the it applies key principles of human-centred innovation planning to Reportagen.

The Corporate Communications project investigated how an organisation is able to create and maintain their public image with the overall aim to achieve a desired reputation capital.
